Hunting Together RPG Halloween Event: Pumpkin Spiders, Gacha and Trick or Treat

Last updated:

How to take part in the Halloween event in Hunting Together RPG: battle Pumpkin Spiders, spend Pumpkin Heads on the Halloween Gacha for class weapon skins, and bring Halloween Candy to the witch houses for Trick or Treat.

The Halloween event in Hunting Together RPG is a limited-time update featuring a spooky village, and its activities are spread across the game's zones. The official game page advertises Pumpkin Spiders and limited Halloween weapon skins, and the developer's event notes list the activities that make up the update.

Quick answer

Take part in the Halloween event by battling Pumpkin Spiders and opening the Halloween Hard Worker Box, collecting Pumpkin Heads to spin the Halloween Gacha, and bringing Halloween Candy to the witch houses for Trick or Treat. The advertised prize is limited Halloween weapon skins.

  • Pumpkin Spiders: battle them as they roam every zone; they hide in the Halloween Box.
  • Pumpkin Heads: collect and spend them on Halloween Gacha spins, which advertise spooky weapon skins for all 6 classes.
  • Halloween Candy: bring it to the witch houses for Trick or Treat; the event notes do not say what the interaction gives back.
  • Warp Pillars: a new fast-travel addition for this update, handy for moving between the event locations.

How the four activities fit together

The four points in the event notes are separate parts of one update, and the notes do not describe how the activities connect. Pumpkin Spiders are the combat side; Pumpkin Heads and the Halloween Gacha are the collect-and-spend side; the witch houses hold the candy delivery; and the Warp Pillars are listed as a fast-travel addition. In that structure, the spooky village is the setting, the spiders are the roaming event enemy, and the weapon skins are the headline reward.

That split matters when you decide where to spend your time. If the weapon skins are what you want, the Pumpkin Head and Halloween Gacha loop is the route to follow. If you want to see the event content itself, the spooky village, the roaming spiders and the witch houses are the places to explore. The Warp Pillars are listed purely for speed, so they are about moving between those places rather than adding another reward step.

Pumpkin Spiders and the Halloween Box

The 2026-10-25 event listing describes Pumpkin Spiders as roaming every zone and hiding in the Halloween Box. The earlier 2026-10-19 listing pairs opening the Halloween Hard Worker Box with battling Pumpkin Spiders as one activity. Together, those lines present the spiders as a roaming enemy you meet during normal hunting, with the Halloween Box named as a place they hide.

Because they roam every zone, ordinary monster hunting is the simplest way to run into them. If you are still learning the map, the locations guide covers the game's areas, and the monsters guide covers hunting more broadly.

Pumpkin Heads and the Halloween Gacha

Pumpkin Heads are the event currency. The notes say to collect Pumpkin Heads and spin the Halloween Gacha for spooky weapon skins for all 6 classes, and the official page calls these limited Halloween weapon skins. The gacha is therefore the advertised skin source, and Pumpkin Heads are what you spend to use it.

The Pumpkin Head loop

  1. 1

    Collect Pumpkin Heads

Gather Pumpkin Heads during the Halloween event.

  2. 2

    Spin the Halloween Gacha

Spend Pumpkin Heads on Halloween Gacha spins.

  3. 3

    Receive the result

The advertised prize is spooky weapon skins for all 6 classes; one recorded session also returned non-skin results.

One recorded Halloween Gacha session shows what the spending can look like. In that one recorded session the player started with 50, and the per-spin cost is not stated in the source, and the outcomes included non-skin results as well as a dagger skin. The player reported two skins at that point, the 'Jack Oriental Star' and 'the axe one', and noted they had not bought the pet game pass used to open boxes. After three or four days of farming, they had about 3,000 of the gacha currency.

Those details come from one player's session near the end of the event, so they are an example rather than a published drop rate. The practical point is that a spin can return something other than a skin, which makes it worth treating the gacha as a chance at a skin rather than a guaranteed purchase. If you are chasing a particular class's weapon skin, the Halloween Gacha and Halloween weapon skins pages cover those parts of the event in more detail.

Trick or Treat at the witch houses

The witch-house part of the event is a delivery: bring Halloween Candy to the witch houses to do Trick or Treat. That is the full instruction in the event notes. The notes do not state what Trick or Treat gives back, and they do not say where Halloween Candy comes from, so bring the candy to a witch house, do the Trick or Treat interaction, and see the result in-game rather than planning around a specific reward.

Warp Pillars

The Warp Pillars are the update's travel addition. The event notes list them simply as new Warp Pillars to travel fast, which makes them a convenience for getting around the event's locations. During the event, that speed helps when you are crossing zones to find Pumpkin Spiders or heading to the witch houses for Trick or Treat.

Event items, auto-farm and manual pickups

One creator's session during the Halloween event found a catch with automation. While the auto-farm function (the F icon) was running, event items were not collected. The same player picked items up when pressing or clicking manually instead. This is a single observation rather than a rule that applies to every item, but it is worth knowing if you plan to leave auto-farm running during the event: check whether your event pickups are actually arriving, and if they are not, take manual control and click them yourself.

The game's general pickup options are covered in the auto pickup settings guide if you want to review how collection normally works.

Timing and availability

The Halloween event is time-limited. The developer's event listing appeared as live on 2026-10-19 and was still part of a 2026-10-25 update. In one recorded session near the end of the event, the player saw about 1 day and 4 hours left and expected an update the next day. The exact end date is not stated in that session, so the in-game event display is the countdown to trust when you are planning spins or candy deliveries.

The weapon skins are described as limited Halloween weapon skins, so the event window matters most if those skins are your goal.

The HALLOWEEN code

The event also came with a HALLOWEEN code that awarded potions. The Hunting Together RPG codes page is the place to check the code and its current state.
