Hunting Together RPG Titles Guide: Beta Tester Title and How to Earn It

Last updated:

What the Hunting Together RPG Beta Tester title requires, the Limited Ice Cat reward announced alongside it, and whether the Beta Test offer is still running.

Quick answer

The title reward named in the Hunting Together RPG announcements is the Beta Tester title: reach Lv.99 while the Beta Test is running. The developer said the Beta Test rewards, including that title, stay with the player after the official launch.

  • Requirement: Lv.99 during the Beta Test
  • Also listed: Limited Ice Cat for Lv.99 on 3 classes, which the announcement does not call a title
  • Timing: the announcement said the Beta Test was ending soon, and the description dated 2026-10-25 no longer repeats the offer

The Beta Tester title and its requirement

Reaching Lv.99 during the Beta Test earns the Beta Tester title. The announcement puts it plainly — 'Reach Lv.99 for the Beta Tester title' — so the requirement is a character level reached inside the test window, and levelling is the work that gets you there. The leveling guide covers how experience and progression work; for the title itself, the deadline is what matters rather than a special quest step.

The same announcement makes the reward permanent: 'These rewards stay after the official launch!' That sentence covers the Beta Tester title together with the Limited Ice Cat. It is the difference between beta progress that carries over and beta progress that is wiped, and according to the announcement, this one carries over — a title earned before launch is a title you keep afterwards.

Two rewards in one line, only one title

The announcement names both rewards together: 'Reach Lv.99 for the Beta Tester title. Lv.99 on 3 classes = Limited Ice Cat. These rewards stay after the official launch!' Sitting side by side, they are easy to read as two titles. The wording does not support that.

Beta Tester is the reward the announcement labels a title. Limited Ice Cat is a separate reward with a higher bar — Lv.99 on three classes instead of one — but the announcement never calls it a title and never says what kind of item it is, so plan around it as its own reward rather than a second title. Both rewards sit under the same promise that they stay after the official launch.

The extra demand in the Ice Cat line is the three-class part. If switching and levelling several classes is where you would slow down, the class leveling and how to change class pages cover that side of the game; the title line asks only for Lv.99.

Can you still earn the Beta Tester title?

Timing decides whether this is a plan or a history lesson. The descriptions that carry the Beta Test offer, including the versions dated 2026-10-19, pair it with the warning 'BETA TEST - ends soon!' Those descriptions give no end date, so the notice itself is the deadline signal: when it was written, the window was closing.

The description dated 2026-10-25 reads differently. It opens with the live Halloween event and lists the features the game currently advertises — classes, Gear Tiers, refining, monster cards, boss fights — but it does not repeat the Beta Test title reward. The 2026-10-19 versions still contain the offer; the 2026-10-25 version does not.

Read that difference precisely. The beta line dropping out of the newest description means the offer is no longer being promoted. On its own it does not say the Beta Test has closed or that the title has been retired, and these descriptions give no beta end date and name no other way to earn the Beta Tester title. So the practical answer: if you are still inside the Beta Test, Lv.99 is the stated route, and the announcement says the title survives launch. If that window has already shut for you, the announcement offers no second route to the same title.

The BETATESTER code is not a title

The Beta Test announcement also carried a code, BETATESTER. The announcement lists BETATESTER as a beta code and does not say what the code gives, so it does not present the code as a route to the Beta Tester title. Code strings, rewards and availability change over time, so that information belongs on the Hunting Together RPG codes page rather than here.

Keep the two beta extras straight: the code was for claiming a free reward during the beta, while the title came from reaching a level. Using the code does not meet the title requirement, and reaching Lv.99 does not claim what the code offered.

What the announcements add up to

Looking across the developer's older posts, the shape of the offer is simple. The Beta Tester title is announced for Lv.99 during the Beta Test, and the developer said it survives the official launch. The Limited Ice Cat was announced at the same time for Lv.99 on three classes, without being described as a title. The only stated requirement for the title is the level inside the beta window, and the newest description no longer advertises that window at all. For the systems around it, the progression guide and beginner guide cover levels, classes and gear.
